The Vault Cellar
A candlelit cellar of rare vintages kept at the perfect temperature, each bottle released only upon the keeper’s approval.
Est. MCMXXIX · A Private Members’ Club
The Gilded Hour is an invitation-only society of connoisseurs and night owls — champagne poured by candlelight, conversation that outlasts the jazz, and a door that opens only for names upon the list.
The Privileges
Membership unfolds in layers — the cellar, the pour, and the company kept after midnight.
A candlelit cellar of rare vintages kept at the perfect temperature, each bottle released only upon the keeper’s approval.
An endless pour of vintage champagne in proper coupe glasses, served by staff who remember precisely how you take it.
When the city sleeps, the second orchestra begins — private sessions, unannounced guests, and dancing until the gilded dawn.
The Entry
Discretion is the first amenity. Three steps stand between you and the velvet rope.
Leave your name and a note of intent. The secretariat reviews every request by candlelight, weekly.
An evening over cocktails with the house committee — part introduction, part delightful interrogation.
Successful candidates receive a gold-leaf key, a members’ cipher, and a first table held in their name.
Whispers in the Lounge
Overheard at the bar, and repeated here with their kind permission.
I have belonged to finer clubs on three continents. None understood that luxury is mostly a matter of timing — the Gilded Hour always does.
The orchestra played our song without being asked. Somewhere between the third champagne and the last dance, I stopped being a guest. This is my house now.
I arrived for the whiskey and stayed for the conversation. Twelve years on, my closest confidants were all seated within ten feet of my first table.

The House Rules
Everything one politely wonders before the first visit.
The charter caps membership at five hundred names worldwide. We review requests weekly and extend roughly one invitation in forty — not from cruelty, but to keep the room worth being in.
Members may escort two guests per evening. Guests of exceptional charm have been known to receive invitations of their own.
Evening dress after seven o’clock. We ask that denim remain a daytime affair, and that sequins never apologize for themselves.
Your cipher reaches the house concierge by day or night — theatre tickets, a quiet table in another city, or a car waiting in the rain. Consider it a wish, granted in gold.
Either is arranged with thirty days’ written notice and without penalty. Departed members are always welcomed back at the door, though their reserved table may not wait.
The Night Awaits
Leave your address with the house. Should the stars — and the committee — align, a gold-leaf envelope shall find you.
