Do I need to know music theory?
No. Seeds set the mood and the engine handles harmony. If you can prune a plant, you can compose with NEON BONSAI.
What does pruning do to the sound?
Each branch is a voice. Cutting one mutes it and redistributes its notes to its neighbours, reshaping the score in real time.
Can I export to my DAW?
Yes. Harvest stems as WAV or MIDI on paid plans, and the Ancient tier ships a VST3 plugin for direct DAW use.
What happens if I stop watering it?
The tree goes dormant and its score is safely saved. Water it again and growth picks up exactly where it left off.
Does it work offline?
Yes. All synthesis and growth run locally in your browser — no server round-trips, no cloud lock-in.
