What researchers report

“The published review reports made my paper better before it was even accepted. Peer review here is part of the research, not a gate in front of it.”

Dr. Lena OkaforComputational Biologist · Karlsruhe Institute of Technology

“Readers can trace every figure in my article back to raw data. Our dataset citations have tripled since we switched.”

Prof. Daniel ReyesMaterials Scientist · Delft University of Technology

“From submission to DOI in nineteen days, with no page charges for my students. This is the workflow I wish had existed a decade ago.”

05 — FAQ

Questions we get from authors

What are the article processing charges (APCs)?

Submission and peer review are free in every tier. Accepted Researcher-tier articles carry a $0 APC; Laboratory and Institution members publish APC-free under their agreements. Any applicable rate is shown on the submission form before you commit.

What license are articles published under?

Every accepted article is published under CC BY 4.0: anyone may read, download, and reuse the work with attribution. Authors retain copyright and are credited through a persistent, ORCID-linked byline.

How long does peer review take?

The median time to first decision is 12 days; median submission-to-publication is 34 days. Every published review report is date-stamped, so anyone can verify the timeline of any article.

Where is AXIOM indexed?

Each article receives a Crossref DOI and is deposited with DOAJ and the major discovery services. Weekly citation metrics are public and available through our open API.

What is your data policy?

Every paper requires a data availability statement. Underlying datasets must be deposited in a recognized repository and cited with a DOI in the reference list before acceptance.
