Liquid chrome, rendered live

Pour liquid chrome into every interface

Nimbus is the browser-native 3D studio where product teams sculpt mercury, chrome and iridescent sheens in real time — then ship them as design tokens.

Everything pours in real time

No bakes, no render farms, no export-then-regret. Nimbus streams every material live from your GPU to the canvas.

Live PBR engine

Mercury, brushed chrome and oil-slick iridescence render at 120 fps while you drag a single slider.

Blob-aware geometry

Sketch a silhouette and watch it pour into smooth, morphing forms — metaballs and liquid highlights included.

Token-perfect exports

Ship any material as CSS variables, Lottie or glTF — light and dark pairs, AA-validated automatically.

From sketch to shipped chrome

Three steps. One browser tab. Zero render queues.

  1. 01

    Sketch the form

Block out a blobby silhouette with the sculpt brush — strokes convert to chrome-ready meshes instantly.

  2. 02

    Pour the material

Pick a mercury or iridescent preset, then tune roughness, reflectivity and sheen with sliders that never stutter.

  3. 03

    Ship the tokens

Export production-ready CSS, Lottie or glTF straight into your design system — dark mode included.

Studios already shining

“We replaced three tools and a Blender plugin with Nimbus. Our chrome finally looks poured, not painted.”

Mara EllisonDesign Lead · Foundry Lab

“The iridescent export dropped straight onto our design tokens. It honestly felt a little illegal.”

Dev OkaforCreative Technologist · Studio Meridian

“Nimbus turned our Y2K brand refresh into a two-week sprint. Clients keep asking if the buttons are real metal.”

Priya RamanHead of Brand · Aether Systems

Chrome, clarified

Does Nimbus really run entirely in the browser?

Yes. Nimbus renders through WebGL 2 and computes every material on your GPU — nothing to install, no render farm. Cloud sync only kicks in when you want version history.

Can I export materials into my design system?

Every material exports as CSS custom properties, Lottie or glTF. Light and dark token pairs are generated and contrast-checked for you automatically.

Do exports work with dark themes?

Yes — each export ships paired token sets for light and dark, both validated to WCAG AA, so your chrome reads as dark liquid metal, never washed-out white.

What hardware do I need?

Any machine with WebGL 2 and hardware acceleration — most laptops from the last six years qualify. The Mercury engine falls back gracefully to 60 fps on integrated graphics.

Can I cancel anytime?

Monthly plans cancel in one click from settings. You keep every export you have already shipped, forever.
