Compose like Picasso.
Collage like Braque.

Facet is a browser-based studio for cutting photos, papers, and color into fragmented planes — then composing them from multiple perspectives into one bold picture.

Sharp planes, soft learning curve

Everything you need to fracture a subject and reassemble it with intent.

Multi-perspective canvas

Pin the front, side, and overhead view of one subject on a single ground, then let Facet slice and interlock them.

Papier-collé library

Hundreds of scanned newsprints, wallpapers, wood grains, and fabric swatches — ready to tear, tint, and paste.

Contour-line engine

Every plane snaps into place with a crisp contour and a hard offset shadow, so fragments stay separated the way Braque intended.

Three moves to a masterpiece

Synthetic cubism, distilled into three gestures — no rendering skills required.

  1. 01

    Cut your planes

Drop in a photo or choose a paper, then slice it into angled geometric planes with one drag.

  2. 02

    Compose in depth

Stack, rotate, and overlap fragments from the front, side, and above — all at once, on one ground.

  3. 03

    Ink the contours

Facet draws the contour lines and hard shadows, then exports your collage print-ready.

Cut from real reviews

What changes when illustrators and educators get a studio that thinks in planes.

“Facet gave my editorial work the fractured depth I used to spend weeks faking by hand. Now it takes an afternoon — and the compositions are braver.”
Mara EllisonEditorial illustrator
“My students finally grasp multiple perspectives because they can hold them — rotate them, argue with them, rearrange them. Facet made cubism tactile.”
Tomás ReyesArt educator, Sevilla

Questions, answered

The essentials before you start cutting.

Do I need to know how to draw?

No. Facet is built on cutting and composing, not rendering. If you can arrange torn paper on a table, you already have the core skill — Facet adds precision, layers, and an undo history.

Can I use my own photos and papers?

Yes. Drag any JPG or PNG onto the canvas and slice it like any other plane. Your uploads stay yours — we never use them for training, and Gallery studios can share papers privately.

What can I export, and at what quality?

Every plan exports crisp PNG. Atelier and Gallery add layered PSD files and print-ready PDF at up to 300 DPI, so your collage survives the gallery wall — or the laser cutter.
