Features

One ramp, everywhere

Backgrounds, buttons, badges and imagery all inherit the same bitone — consistency is the default, not a chore.

Duotone by default

Pick a shadow and a highlight once. Cards, nav and chips wash themselves in your ramp automatically.

Fast like print

Pure CSS gradients and blend modes, zero image assets. Pages paint in milliseconds on any device.

Contrast, verified

Every background token ships with a validated text pair in dark and light mode, checked before publish.

How it works

Loud in three steps

  1. Pick two tones

Set shadow and highlight in one token block. Ramps, washes and focus rings derive instantly.

  2. Drop in content

Semantic sections snap to the grid — hero, features, pricing — with zero layout wrangling.

  3. Ship in one file

Export a single self-contained page. Every hover, toggle and form reply stays in your palette.

FAQ

Straight answers

No. Nimbus ships art-directed by default: the ramp places color for you and every component is pre-tuned for both themes. Designers speed you up; they are never a blocker.

Every image is mapped through the ramp in pure CSS — grayscale, then blend modes for shadow and highlight. Any photo joins your palette with no pre-processing or asset pipeline.

Yes. Dark is the default, and each visitor’s toggle is remembered in localStorage, with a prefers-color-scheme fallback for first visits.
