Walk Among the Pharaohs

Three millennia of gilded wonders, unsealed at last. Unearth forty thousand artefacts โ€” restored, translated, and lit like the great halls of Thebes.

The Collection

Halls of Gilded Wonder

A monumental survey of the Nile โ€” symmetric galleries, banded in gold and lapis, holding the finds of two great ages of discovery.

The Gilded Archive

Forty thousand catalogued artefacts โ€” from scarab amulets to the gilded funerary mask of Nebkauhen โ€” photographed in lapis-lit detail.

Conservation Atelier

Watch our conservators rebind papyrus, rejoin faience, and coax gold leaf back to life inside a working, glass-walled laboratory.

Twilight Lantern Tours

After the gates close, members walk the colonnade by lamplight, exactly as the 1920s excavators first beheld these treasures.

Your Path

Three Rites of Passage

  1. 1

    Consult the Scribes

Reserve a timed pass; our registrars chart a route matched to your curiosities.

  2. 2

    Walk the Halls

Cross the colonnade, past key-patterned bands, into the gallery of kings.

  3. 3

    Carry the Legacy

Depart with a hand-pressed scarab seal, a treasury catalogue, and a year of returns.

Voices

From Those Who Walked

"The mask of Nebkauhen alone is worth the pilgrimage โ€” but it was the hush of the lantern tour that undid me."

Eleanor Vance

Historian of Art, London

"Our students left the halls whispering in hieroglyphs. No screen has ever done that to a classroom."

Marcus Bell

Head of History, Crestwood School

"As a working conservator, I came ready to scoff. I stayed a week, taking notes in the atelier."

Dr. Amara Hassan

For the Curious

Questions for the Keepers

Are the artefacts authentic?

Every piece was either excavated under licence or accessioned before 1970; later revival works are clearly labelled as such, in the honest tradition of the 1920s exhibitions.

May I photograph the galleries?

Non-flash photography is welcome throughout. The mask chamber permits lamplight exposures only โ€” our attendants will gladly steady a lantern for you.

Is the museum accessible?

All halls are step-free, with lifts to every gallery, wheelchairs on loan at the gate, and weekly quiet hours with dimmed soundscapes.

Can schools book a guided rite?

Yes. Scribe-led school visits run each weekday morning and include a cartouche-carving workshop; write to the registrars at least a fortnight ahead.

How do I cancel my membership?

Cancel at any time from your ledger page; your privileges endure until the end of the current billing cycle, as the old contracts promise.
