Materials

Honest materials, no shortcuts.

We pick every board, hide, and straw bundle ourselves — then let the material tell the rest of the story.

Solid hardwood

Pequiá and cumaru timber, air-dried for eighteen months and joined with mortise-and-tenon — no veneers, no particleboard. Every table ships with the grain map of its tree.

Full-grain leather

Vegetable-tanned hides from southern Brazil, saddle-stitched by hand. It arrives soft, ages into a patina you keep for decades, and only improves with dinner parties.

Woven straw

Natural sisal and buriti straw, woven by artisans in Minas Gerais in patterns passed down four generations. Cool in summer, warm in winter, unmistakably ours.

The process

From our atelier to your living room.

  1. 01

    Choose & customize

Pick a piece and make it yours — wood species, leather tone, straw weave, and dimensions, confirmed with a hand sketch before a single cut.

  2. 02

    We handcraft it

Two makers build your order over four to six weeks, with photo updates at every stage, from first joint to final coat of natural wax.

  3. 03

    White-glove delivery

Our own crew assembles everything in your home, places it exactly where you want it, and takes every scrap of packaging with them.

Kind words

Lived-in and loved daily.

“The Moema armchair is the first thing guests ask about and the last thing anyone leaves. Three years of kids, dogs, and coffee — and the leather keeps looking better.”
Portrait of Mariana C.Mariana C. — São Paulo, Brazil

“We commissioned the eight-seat dining table and it arrived like a family heirloom. The crew even leveled it on our hundred-year-old uneven floors.”

Questions

Before you ask.

What woods and materials do you use?

Only solid, sustainably harvested Brazilian hardwoods — pequiá, cumaru, and freijó — with full-grain vegetable-tanned leather and natural sisal or buriti straw. No veneers, MDF, or foam in any frame.

How long does a commission take?

Most single pieces take four to six weeks from approved sketch to delivery; full room sets take eight to ten. You receive photo updates at every stage, so the wait feels like part of the story.

What if it arrives damaged or isn’t right?

Every piece travels fully insured with our own two-person crew. If anything arrives damaged, we repair or replace it free within 30 days — and our lifetime promise covers joinery and frames forever after.
