New season · FW26 drop

Built for the trail. Worn everywhere.

Technical shells engineered on the mountain and cut for the city — fully taped seams, PFAS-free DWR, and a fit that layers over everything you already own.

Tech specs — 01

Engineered, not decorated

Every detail earns its place on the spec sheet. If it doesn't perform at altitude, it doesn't ship.

Storm-tested

20K/20K Waterproof

A 3-layer microporous membrane blocks the storm while pushing sweat out. Every seam tape-welded, every zipper backed by a storm flap.

Climate control

Pit zips dump heat on the climb and cinch down on the ridge. Wear it as a shell or pack it away to the size of a water bottle.

Trail-to-street fit

Articulated sleeves and a dropped hem patterned for movement — sharp over a hoodie, sharper over a button-down.

Field process — 02

From ridge prototype to your closet

01

Design in the field

Every prototype logs a minimum of 200 km of real trail mileage before a style is signed off.

02

Lab + summit test

Fabric is rated for hydrostatic head and breathability, then dragged through a full Chamonix winter.

03

Drop in small runs

Production lands in limited batches. Repaired for life, never landfilled, never restocked.

Field reports — 04

Logged mileage

"Three months of Scottish sideways rain and the Ridge Shell still beads like day one. First technical fit I can wear straight from the trail to the office."

Mara Jensen
Trail Runner — Chamonix

"Bought it for the commute, kept it on for a winter traverse. The pit zips dump heat exactly when I need them to, and the hood fits over a helmet."

Dev Okafor
Bike Commuter — Portland

"Finally a hardshell that doesn't wear like a tent. The spec sheet reads like it was written by people who actually log miles."

Spec-sheet questions

What does 20K/20K actually mean?

The membrane holds back 20,000 mm of hydrostatic pressure — heavy-storm level — while moving 20,000 g of water vapor per m² per 24 hours, so you stay dry from the outside in and the inside out.

Is the DWR finish PFAS-free?

Yes. Every shell ships with a fluorocarbon-free DWR, and re-proofing kits are included with lifetime repairs so the beading effect lasts seasons, not months.

How does sizing work for layering?

Shells are patterned with room for a mid-layer. If you plan to wear a puffy underneath, size up once. Fit charts list chest measurements taken over a base layer.

What's the repair-for-life policy?

Zipper blown in year eight? Torn on a branch? Mail it in and we fix it — or issue store credit if it's beyond saving. No shell goes to landfill on our watch.
