New drop: Neon Botanicals

More is more.

Paper Riot is an illustration studio & riso print shop in Lisbon — loud gallery-grade prints, take-no-prisoners commissions, and workshops that teach color-clash as a lifestyle.

What we make

Prints, commissions & glorious chaos

Riso & giclée prints

Two-color risograph and archival giclée editions on 300gsm cotton rag — grain, misregistration, and all the charming chaos left in on purpose.

Wild commissions

Album sleeves, murals, brand mascots, tattoo flash. Send the brief, get three concepts in five days — zero beige, guaranteed in writing.

Workshops & kits

Monthly studio sessions in collage, mark-making, and color-clash theory, with take-home kits so the riot continues at your kitchen table.

How it works

From brief to blast in three moves

  1. 01

    Brief the riot

A five-minute form: references, the colors you fear, your deadline. Attach a napkin sketch if you like — we speak fluent napkin.

  2. 02

    Sketch storm

Three rough concepts in five days. You poke holes, we polish edges, and nobody utters the word “minimalist” out loud.

  3. 03

    Ink & ship

Final files, your print run, and tracked worldwide shipping in a tube that has survived volcanoes. Almost. We tested twice.

Word on the street

People leave louder than they came

“The shopfront mural makes our whole street louder. People stop, stare, and grin — which is exactly what we asked for.”
Maya OkaforGallery director, Loopmag
“My album cover got called ‘too much’ by three separate people — then it got shared everywhere. Best money I’ve spent all year.”
Deni ParkMusician & serial poster hoarder

FAQ

Questions, answered loudly

Do you ship internationally, and how fast?

Yes — every order leaves our Lisbon studio within 48 hours, rolled in a crush-proof tube with end-to-end tracking to 40+ countries. Most deliveries land in 3–8 business days, and the tube doubles as an excellent pretend telescope.

How long does a commission take?

Concept sketches arrive in five days; finished inkwork takes two to four weeks depending on scale. We lock the timeline and the price before you pay a cent, and you approve every stage.

What if my print arrives damaged?

Send us a photo within seven days and a replacement ships free — no forms, no interrogation, no restocking fee. Reprints are guaranteed for 60 days after delivery, because accidents are louder with witnesses.
