Dawn-Gathered Blooms
Every stem is cut at first light in our cottage gardens, while the dew still holds the colour fast.
Nimbus Botanical Atelier · Est. 1893
Nimbus gathers the season's most tender blooms and presses them, leaf by leaf, into hand-bound folios — keepsakes made to outlive the very garden that grew them.
The Atelier's Promise
Every stem is cut at first light in our cottage gardens, while the dew still holds the colour fast.
Cotton rag paper, oak-gall ink and wheat-starch paste — nothing that yellow time can argue with.
No machine hums in our atelier. Each petal is placed with tweezers, patience, and a steadied breath.
How It Works
Choose the stems that speak to you, or let our florists compose from the season's finest cutting.
Your blooms rest between linen blotters for six patient weeks, until every drop of moisture yields.
We mount the pressings, emboss your folio in gold leaf, and sign it with the artisan's mark.
Kind Words
My grandmother's wedding roses now live between cotton pages — my mother wept when she turned the first leaf.starstarstarstarstar
The Nimbus folio is the only object in my shop I refuse to sell. Customers ask; I simply smile and turn the page.starstarstarstarstar

Questions
With the Heirloom tier, yes — post your blooms to the atelier and we will press, mount and return them inside your folio, with pressing instructions enclosed for every season.
Six patient weeks between blotters, then two more for gold tooling. Most folios reach your letterbox within a season of ordering.
We press only at full bloom, fix with oak-gall, and mount on cotton rag — so we guarantee the colours for one hundred years, in writing.
