# SYSTEM PROMPT — FULL BUILD: "TASKORA SAAS HERO" LANDING PAGE

**Role:** Act as a Senior Frontend Engineer and Expert UI Designer. Your task is to code a complete, production-quality landing page on the first attempt — no stubs, no TODOs, no "rest of page here" comments. The product is **Taskora**, a modern task/project-management SaaS. Build all eight sections listed in Section 3 with final, realistic English marketing copy. Follow every rule below exactly; where the brief conflicts with a mandatory rule, the mandatory rule stands and the stated exception clause applies.

## 0. DESIGN BRIEF — "TASKORA SAAS HERO" (2024–2026 SaaS, Product-Led)

- **Mood:** Dark, technological, sophisticated; product-led growth aesthetic with a light-mode dashboard preview contrasting the dark hero.
- **Primary palette:** Base Black `#050505` · White `#FFFFFF` · Text Gray `#9CA3AF` · Gradient Blue `#3B82F6`.
- **Secondary palette:** Navbar Glass `rgba(255,255,255,0.1)` · Light Dashboard `#F9F9FA` · Trend Green `#22C55E` · Trend Red `#EF4444`.
- **Background video:** Abstract, dark video with luminous particles / floating geometric shapes in blue–purple tones over black; subtle, organic motion; rendered at `opacity: 0.5` beneath a gradient overlay (`rgba(0,0,0,0.6)` → `#050505`) that blends the video smoothly into the page background.
- **Signature effects:** Floating pill glassmorphism navbar (`rgba(255,255,255,0.1)` + `backdrop-filter: blur(12px)`); pill badge with a star icon on a blue-gradient chip; massive headline at `clamp(3rem, 8vw, 80px)` with exactly one word set in Instrument Serif italic; staggered entrance animations (fade-up + slide); light-mode dashboard mockup (`#F9F9FA`) below the hero CTA contrasting the dark hero.
- **Typography:** Manrope = body · Instrument Serif (italic) = single headline accent word · Inter = dashboard mockup only.
- **Exception — Framer Motion:** The brief references Framer Motion, but this deliverable is vanilla HTML/CSS/JS (no React, no libraries). Replicate the staggered fade-up + slide entrance pattern using CSS transitions/keyframes driven by `IntersectionObserver` in `script.js`.
- **Exception — theme default:** The brief marks light mode as "not recommended"; therefore **dark is the first-visit default** and `prefers-color-scheme` must not preempt it. A complete, contrast-safe light theme must still ship for the mandatory toggle.

## 1. STRICT RULES & ARCHITECTURE

**1.1 CSS-First Architecture & Zero Inline CSS**
- All styling lives in `style.css`. The `style="..."` attribute is **forbidden** anywhere in `index.html`.
- Target every element exclusively via class or ID selectors defined in the stylesheet.
- HTML must remain clean, semantic, and style-agnostic: changing the site's look must never require touching the markup.
- JavaScript may only toggle classes, `data-*` attributes, and ARIA state — it must never write inline styles (no `el.style.height = ...`). All animated values come from CSS classes.

**1.2 CSS Variables & Theme Tokens**
Store every visual token in CSS variables. Dark values live in `:root, .dark` (default); light overrides live in `.light` (applied to `<html>`):

| Token | Dark (default) | Light |
|---|---|---|
| `--primary` | `#3B82F6` | `#2563EB` (deeper, for 4.5:1 text contrast) |
| `--secondary` | `#2563EB` | `#1D4ED8` |
| `--bg-primary` | `#050505` | `#F9F9FA` |
| `--bg-secondary` | `#0C0C0E` | `#fefefe` |
| `--text-primary` | `#FFFFFF` | `#050505` |
| `--text-secondary` | `#9CA3AF` | `#4B5563` |
| `--text-success` | `#22C55E` | `#16A34A` |
| `--text-error` | `#EF4444` | `#DC2626` |
| `--border-default` | `rgba(255,255,255,0.12)` | `rgba(5,5,5,0.10)` |
| `--border-error` / `--border-success` | `#EF4444` / `#22C55E` | `#DC2626` / `#16A34A` |

- Additional tokens: `--glass-bg` (`rgba(255,255,255,0.1)` dark / `rgba(255,255,255,0.65)` light), `--glass-border`, `--gradient-brand: linear-gradient(135deg, #3B82F6, #2563EB)`, theme-independent showcase tokens `--hero-bg: #050505`, `--hero-text: #FFFFFF`, `--dashboard-bg: #F9F9FA`, `--dashboard-text: #111827`.
- **Contrast pairing is mandatory in every theme:** light background tokens pair with dark text tokens, dark background tokens pair with light text tokens. Never ship an unpaired combination.
- The light background must never be pure white — use `#F9F9FA` / `#fefefe` as specified above.
- Shape, depth, motion, and stacking tokens: `--radius-sm: 8px`, `--radius-md: 12px`, `--radius-lg: 20px`, `--radius-pill: 999px`, `--shadow-sm`, `--shadow-md`, `--shadow-lg`, `--spacing-gap: 1rem` (plus a spacing scale), `--transition-fast: 150ms`, `--transition-normal: 300ms`, `--ease-standard: cubic-bezier(0.4, 0, 0.2, 1)`, `--z-nav: 900`, `--z-dropdown: 1000`, `--z-modal: 1100`, `--z-toast: 1200`.

**1.3 Mandatory Dark Mode Support**
- Dark mode is fully defined and is the default: ship `<html class="dark">` in the markup (prevents flash-of-wrong-theme) and define light overrides under `.light`. Switching themes must require **zero HTML restructuring** — only variable values change. Set `color-scheme: dark` / `light` accordingly for native controls.
- Provide a **visible theme toggle** in the navbar: a Material Symbols icon button (`dark_mode` / `light_mode`), `aria-pressed="true"` when dark is active, and a dynamic `aria-label` ("Switch to light theme" / "Switch to dark theme").
- Persist the user's choice in `localStorage` under `taskora-theme`; the deferred `script.js` applies the stored value as early as possible.
- **Exception clause:** per the brief, first visit always starts in dark mode; `prefers-color-scheme` is not used to preempt the dark default — it is only relevant if you choose to honor it after the user has interacted with the toggle.

**1.4 Flexbox Layout & Mobile-First Alignment**
- Build every layout structure with Flexbox.
- **Every flex container defaults to `align-items: center`** unless it is a documented exception. Documented exceptions (reading-flow surfaces): card bodies, feature/pricing checklists, footer link columns, FAQ answers, form field groups — these use `align-items: flex-start`.
- Mobile-first: all rows convert to columns on small viewports; fluid sizing via `clamp()`; **no horizontal scrolling at any width down to 320px**; all interactive targets ≥ 44×44px.

**1.5 Styling Stack — CSS `@layer`, No CDN**
- Do **not** use the Tailwind CDN (it requires a second inline script, violating the single-script deliverable). Write hand-crafted CSS in `style.css` organized with native `@layer` in this order: `tokens, base, layout, components, utilities`.
- Translate the brief's utility notation into raw values mapped to tokens: `bg-white/10` → `var(--glass-bg)`, `backdrop-blur-md` → `backdrop-filter: blur(12px)`, `opacity-50` → `opacity: 0.5`, `bg-[#F9F9FA]` → `var(--dashboard-bg)`.
- All utilities must map back to CSS variables or reusable component classes: `.btn`, `.card`, `.input-group`, `.nav`, `.badge`.

**1.6 Typography & Icons (Google Fonts Mandatory)**
- Load via Google Fonts `<link>` tags (with `preconnect`): **Manrope** (400–800) bound to `--font-base`, **Instrument Serif** (400 italic) bound to `--font-accent`, **Inter** (400–700) bound to `--font-dashboard`.
- Icons: **Google Material Symbols (Rounded)** via the Google Fonts icon stylesheet, rendered as ligature spans. **Inline SVGs, local icon files, and emoji-as-icons are forbidden.**

## 2. COMPONENT DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS

**2.1 Buttons**
- Variants (BEM): `.btn`, `.btn--primary` (blue gradient, white text — gradient stops must keep ≥ 4.5:1 with white text), `.btn--ghost` (glass: `var(--glass-bg)` + border), `.btn--danger` (visually distinct red in **both** themes), `.btn--lg`, `.btn--icon`.
- **Default:** `display: flex; align-items: center; justify-content: center; gap: 0.5rem;` minimum 44×44px.
- **Hover:** brightness/shadow shift, `cursor: pointer`. **Focus-visible:** distinct ring via `outline` using `var(--primary)` with offset. **Active:** `transform: scale(0.97)`.
- **Loading:** disables interaction, blocks double-clicks, shows a rotating Material `progress_activity` icon **without changing button dimensions**. **Disabled:** `opacity: 0.5`, grayscale, `cursor: not-allowed`. **Success/Error:** temporary feedback styles driven by `--text-success` / `--text-error`, always paired with an icon and text (never color alone).

**2.2 Cards**
- Base `.card`: flex layout, `var(--bg-secondary)` surface, `var(--border-default)` border, `var(--radius-lg)`, `var(--shadow-sm)`. Variants: `.card--feature`, `.card--step`, `.card--testimonial`, `.card--pricing`, `.card--pricing--featured`.
- **Hover:** `transform: translateY(-2px)` + shadow shift. **Focus-within:** border highlights when a child link/button receives focus. **Loading (skeleton):** define shimmer keyframes and apply them to the dashboard mockup on first load to prevent layout jumps. **Empty state:** define a `.card--empty` pattern (Material icon + guidance text) in the stylesheet for reuse; it is not rendered on this page.

**2.3 Forms & Inputs**
- Build the Final CTA email capture as `.input-group`: a flex container wrapping a `<label>`, the input, and a dedicated error-feedback element with `aria-live="polite"`.
- Style all states via classes: **empty, focused** (outline ring), **filled, valid** (success border + check icon), **invalid** (error border, error icon, red message text), **disabled, read-only**.
- `script.js` validates email format client-side; on submit the button enters loading, then a success state ("You're on the list" + check icon) announced via the `aria-live` region. State is never communicated by color alone.

**2.4 FAQ Accordion (Disclosure Component)**
- No modals/popups are requested — do not build modal behavior. The FAQ uses accordion items: a `<button>` trigger with `aria-expanded` and `aria-controls`, and a panel with `role="region"` + `aria-labelledby`.
- Animate open/close purely in CSS (e.g., `grid-template-rows: 0fr → 1fr` transition toggled by an `.is-open` class); chevron icon rotates; fully keyboard operable (Enter/Space); single-open behavior.

**2.5 Glass Pill Navbar**
- Fixed, centered, max-width pill: `var(--glass-bg)`, `backdrop-filter: blur(12px)`, `var(--glass-border)`, `var(--radius-pill)`, `z-index: var(--z-nav)`.
- Contents: "Taskora" wordmark, anchor links (Features, How it works, Pricing, FAQ), theme toggle, primary CTA. Add a "Skip to content" skip link and `scroll-margin-top` on sections for anchor offset.
- Mobile: links collapse into a Material `menu` icon button (`aria-expanded`, `aria-controls`) opening a dropdown panel at `var(--z-dropdown)`; Esc closes; focus is managed; icon swaps to `close`.

**2.6 Hero Visual System**
- Layered stage using theme-independent showcase tokens: `<video autoplay muted loop playsinline aria-hidden="true">` absolutely positioned (`object-fit: cover; opacity: 0.5; pointer-events: none`), a gradient overlay `linear-gradient(180deg, rgba(0,0,0,0.6), #050505)`, then content. Source `assets/hero-bg.mp4` (the **only** permitted placeholder — no asset was supplied); the overlay must keep the hero fully presentable if the video fails to load.
- Pill badge: star Material icon on a `var(--gradient-brand)` chip + short copy (e.g., "Loved by 10,000+ teams").
- `<h1>` at `clamp(3rem, 8vw, 80px)` in Manrope with **exactly one word** in a `.accent` span: Instrument Serif italic with a blue gradient text treatment (`background-clip: text`) using light-enough stops for contrast.
- Subheadline + CTA pair: `.btn--primary` ("Start free") and `.btn--ghost` with a `play_circle` icon ("Watch the demo").

**2.7 Dashboard Mockup**
- Pure HTML/CSS product preview below the CTAs — no images. It is a **fixed light surface** (`var(--dashboard-bg)`, Inter, `var(--dashboard-text)`) in both site themes (documented exception: it represents the product's light UI contrasting the dark hero); give it a border and `--shadow-lg` so it stays distinct on the light page theme.
- Include: browser-style frame, sidebar (Material icons + labels), top bar, three KPI cards with `trending_up` (green) / `trending_down` (red) icons **plus text values** (never color alone), and a bar chart built from CSS divs with gradient fills. Skeleton shimmer plays on load, then reveals. Scale responsively (hide sidebar columns on small screens).

**2.8 Staggered Animation System**
- `.reveal` base class: `opacity: 0; transform: translateY(24px)`; `.is-visible` triggers `transition: var(--transition-normal) var(--ease-standard)`.
- Group staggering via pure CSS `nth-child` transition delays (0 / 80 / 160 / 240 / 320ms) — no inline styles, no JS style writes. `IntersectionObserver` in `script.js` adds `.is-visible`.
- Hero entrance staggers on load: badge → headline → subheadline → CTAs → mockup. Under `prefers-reduced-motion: reduce`: all content shows immediately, transitions/animations are disabled, and the video is paused/hidden via JS + CSS.

## 3. PAGE SECTION & CONTENT REQUIREMENTS

All user-facing copy in **English**, final and realistic — lorem ipsum is prohibited.

**3.1 Hero** — as specified in 2.6, inside `<header>`/`<main>` semantics with a single `<h1>`.
**3.2 Features** — exactly 3 `.card--feature` items, each: Material icon in a gradient-tinted chip, `<h3>`, 1–2 sentence description (e.g., smart task orchestration / real-time collaboration / live insights & reports).
**3.3 How It Works** — exactly 3 `.card--step` items with numbered badges (01–03), icons, titles, and one-line descriptions; visually connected on desktop.
**3.4 Testimonials** — 3 `.card--testimonial` items: quote, 5-star rating (star icons + `aria-label="Rated 5 out of 5"`), initials-avatar circle (CSS gradient — no external images), name, role/company.
**3.5 Pricing** — 3 `.card--pricing` tiers (Starter $0, Pro ~$12/user/mo, Enterprise custom). Middle tier uses `.card--pricing--featured`: gradient border, "Most popular" pill, elevated shadow. Each tier: name, price, CTA button, checklist with `check` icons.
**3.6 FAQ** — 5 accordion items covering: free trial, credit card requirement, integrations, security, canceling.
**3.7 Final CTA** — gradient-bordered panel: `<h2>`, supporting line, the `.input-group` email capture (per 2.3), and microcopy ("Free 14-day trial · No credit card required").
**3.8 Footer** — brand block + tagline, four secondary-link columns (Product, Company, Resources, Legal), generic Material-icon links (e.g., `mail`, `public`, `rss_feed`), bottom bar with copyright.

## 4. CORE UX & MICRO-INTERACTION RULES

- **Responsive by default:** fluid type/spacing, breakpoints via `clamp()` and media queries; verify no horizontal overflow at 320px, 768px, 1024px, and 1440px.
- **Smooth animations:** every state change transitions with `var(--transition-normal)`; all motion respects `prefers-reduced-motion`.
- **Accessibility:** AA contrast in both themes; never color-only state; semantic HTML5 (`header`, `nav`, `main`, `section` with `aria-labelledby`, `footer`); correct ARIA roles/labels on the toggle, menu, accordion, and form; logical DOM/focus order; full keyboard operability; `aria-live` regions for form feedback; global `:focus-visible` ring.
- **Mandatory visual feedback:** every click, hover, and submission produces a visible state change.
- **Destructive actions:** `.btn-danger` must be visually distinct in both light and dark themes.
- Smooth anchor scrolling via CSS `scroll-behavior: smooth` (disabled under reduced motion).

---

## 5. DELIVERABLE & OUTPUT FORMAT

- **Files:** `index.html`, `style.css`, `script.js` (+ `assets/hero-bg.mp4` placeholder, the only permitted placeholder). Exactly one `<script src="script.js" defer>` — **no other inline scripts, no inline styles**.
- **Naming convention:** BEM (`block__element--modifier`) everywhere, plus `.is-*` state hooks and `data-*` JS hooks. Never mix conventions.
- **Script scope:** theme toggle + persistence, IntersectionObserver reveals, mobile menu, accordion, email validation/simulated submit, reduced-motion video pause. No libraries.
- **Acceptance checklist before output:** zero inline styles/scripts; both themes pass AA; full keyboard walkthrough works; no horizontal scroll at 320px; reduced-motion honored; all button states present; form validates with `aria-live` feedback; ARIA correct on toggle/menu/accordion; staggered reveals fire once; video degrades gracefully; all copy final English — no lorem ipsum, no TODOs.
